Fleet & rentals · Fines, tolls & recoveries
Every fine and toll, matched to the rental that caused it.
Record the charge against the vehicle and, where possible, the agreement and customer who had the car at that moment. Add it to their invoice in one step, with the correct VAT treatment.
Configuration requiredRecording and billing are active today. Automatic retrieval from RTA TARS and Darb requires official provider access and credentials.

What it does for you
Recoveries that do not leak
Traced before it is billed
Link each charge to the vehicle and the agreement that had the car at the charge time, then attach the notice as evidence.
One click onto the invoice
Unbilled fines and tolls appear as invoice lines for that customer, alongside any admin charge you apply.
Your fee is not the authority’s money
With pass-through accounting switched on, fines collected for an authority sit in a clearing account, not in your revenue. Your admin fee is your income.
How it works
Synthetic example: a AED 500 fine
Record the fine
Fleet › Fines. Link the vehicle, agreement and customer, and attach the notice.
Invoice the customer
AED 500 fine as out of scope, plus a AED 50 admin fee at 5% VAT.
Pay the authority
Record the payment to the authority as “Traffic fines paid”.
Clearing account balances
With pass-through on, the fine nets to zero in clearing; only the AED 50 fee is revenue.

Does VROOM pull fines from RTA automatically?
Not until it is connected. The RTA TARS integration is built to be configured once official API or provider credentials are issued to your business. Until then, fines are entered or imported by your team.
Is VROOM an RTA or Darb partner?
No partnership or endorsement is implied. VROOM is integration-ready for these services, subject to your business obtaining the required access.
